Aubrey Plaza was interviewed with Style Caster and discussed that infamous photo of her and Michael Cera at a Chuck-E-Cheese. You can watch the interview at Style Caster.

Along with Black Bear, StyleCaster also asked Plaza about a viral photo of her and Michael Cera at Chuck-E-Cheese surrounded by fans. The picture has been circulating the internet for years, so, of course, we had to ask Plaza for an explanation.

“I knew this picture was going to was going to haunt me forever. OK. Michael and I were dating. We drove across the country together. We went on a very romantic road trip together. All I know is that we were in Chuck-E-Cheese. I don’t know,” she recalls.

As for why her face reacted the way it does in the photo, Plaza had this to say: “I could not believe the amount of girls that came over to our booth at that point. Michael Cera could not walk down a street without a little girls crying. I mean, and he’s so recognizable. But we couldn’t go anywhere. We were in the middle of America, just like walking into a Chuck-E-Cheese and just causing total chaos. I remember that moment very well. And I was like, I’ll never get to see that picture. But, man, what a picture.”

Aubrey Plaza was interviewed by comedy legend Adam Sandler for the latest issue of “Interview” magazine. You can read the full interview at Interview Magazine.

SANDLER: [Laughs] How many days did you shoot this movie for?

PLAZA: I don’t know. Twenty days, maybe? We had to go back and reshoot the first three days on the weekends.

SANDLER: Because of the bugs?

PLAZA: No, because of other shit. It was a real head trip, because I had to do those things over and over again. It almost felt like a sick joke.

SANDLER: What you did in the last 20 minutes of that movie—with the drunk of it all, and the emotions of it all, and the ups and downs—was so on the money. I’ve never seen anyone play drunk and have to go through what you did. I was so happy it was you and not me, because I could not handle what you do.

PLAZA: That was the scariest part, to play drunk for that many days, because we were shooting nights and I was not mentally prepared for having to throw my body around. I had tremors in my muscles because I was swinging myself around like crazy.

SANDLER: The other actors must have been like, “Holy shit, what she’s putting herself through is insane.” By the way, where are people going to be able to see this movie?

PLAZA: It’s coming out in the theaters, and then also on demand, whatever that means. I don’t think anyone’s going to go to the theater.
